Photo Fridays: Jim Brandenburg’s 90 Day Project

40-Frosty-Sedge-Meadow

Photo Fridays is a series of presentations, covering various photographic topics, aimed at discussing our work with others.  Through these discussions, we intend to provide information about techniques, equipment and possibilities employed to create well-executed, meaningful photographs.

Join us this Friday, November 14th at 7:00 PM, for a FREE event with light appetizers and refreshments. We will discuss the work of Jim Brandenburg, a world-renowned photographer, and show a video of the amazing task he set for himself of taking only one photograph, each day for the ninety days of fall.

Jim Brandenburg is a Minnesota native who has traveled the world extensively for National Geographic. His feature, North Woods, was the result of his 90 Day Project. According to William Allen, Editor, it was “the most photographs the magazine has ever published in one feature in its entire history.”

To learn more about Jim and to view his work, visit his website at www.jimbrandenburg.com.

Please join the event on Facebook! We hope to see you here.
