Bigelow Foliage by Jaime Corriveau

The Schoolhouse Gallery is pleased to feature Jamie Corriveau’s “Bigelow Foliage”, a photographic gallery-wrapped canvas print (30″h x 40″w).  The print is on exhibit and for sale at our gallery this autumn and winter.

Jaime Corriveau began coming to “The Valley” in 1953. With the benefit of growing up skiing Sugarloaf, he went on to become an accomplished ski racer and outdoor enthusiast. Over his career, Corriveau taught school, flew commercially, managed the K2 Pro Racing Team and worked in sales with Yamaha. These positions allowed him to travel extensively, where he became a self-taught amateur photographer. To further his skills, he’s had the privilege of being mentored by two professional photographers: Willis Wood of Denver, CO, and our very own, John Orcutt.

“Bigelow Foliage” was taken just shy of the summit of Burnt Mountain in Carrabassett Valley, Maine, where Corriveau is a full-time resident.
