Hugh Verrier, Marguerite Robichaux, and John Orcutt’s current show on display through April

The Schoolhouse Gallery is happy to announce that the current exhibit of Hugh’s hand painted watercolor birds, Marguerite’s oil paintings, and John’s nature photo images will remain on display through the month of April. After a First Friday Artwalk on April 6th, the event will take a springtimeĀ hiatus, and will continue in the summer during the Kingfield POPs festival with new artists, entertainment, and photos from John’s newest work.

We’d like to share a comment made by Marguerite after last month’s packed First Friday Artwalk celebrating her book, Glorious Slow Going, with Elizabeth Peavey. This comment made us look back on the last year-and-a-half with pride, grateful that we’ve been able to create a special space for art in Western Maine.

“You and John have a beautiful space unrivaled in the woods of Maine, indeed, in the state of Maine.Ā  Your lively involvement, perpetual curiosity and excellent eye have all added up to a gallery and salon which makes us all proud.”

We are so happy to be able to share our space and art with all of our gallery visitors and look forward to celebrating the art of the Western Mountains!
